NEW 5/13/09 BARNYARD CAMPOUT II
Thanks to everyone who came out for the second annual Barnyard Campout!  Everyone had a blast and we lucked out on the weather again this year!  I'd also like to thank James Clay, Cindy Woolf, Casey Reeves, The Cropdusters, Clifton Roy & Folkstringer, and Madahoochi for making their debut appearance at this event.  BIG THANKS TO ADAM POWERS FOR CLOCKING IN FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND CLOCKING OUT SUNDAY MORNING.  Buy that guy a drink when you see him for doing such a fantastic job with production this year! 

Please contact us at barnyardcampout@hotmail.com to offer any feedback you have on how everything went, particularly regarding our decision to keep the evening music in the barn.  The outdoor main stage blocks the gravel road through the 'barnyard, and due to the mud, we couldn't open up the lane behind the barn like we did last year.  Aside from the issue of space, we really liked the atmosphere and doing all the Saturday evening music on the barn stage almost cut the production work in half.  Let us know what you think about us doing that again next year.  We're always looking for ways to improve the experience for everyone and would love to hear your feedback!

NEW 3/06/09 NEW DRUMMER TO THE BAND! 
We are very pleased and excited to welcome none other than Danny Carroll from Bockman, Joe Stickley's Blueprint, etc. as our new drummer extraordinaire!  Danny is not only clearly a master of his craft, but a fantastic guy nonetheless and has been a dear friend of ours for several years.  We're definitely excited about things to come and can't wait to get some new tunes written with him at the helm! 

1/20/09 ZACH STUBBS DEPARTS
After five great years and two full length albums, our friend and brother Zach Stubbs will be leaving the band to pursue professional career interests.  While it saddens us to see him go, we recount all the great times we've had together and all the big laughs at his expense...as those have been some of the most enduring memories we've carried along the way. 

We will be taking the month of February off and will be back in March with our new drummer; the fantastic and mysterious Mr. X. 
 

12/19/08  NEW SINGLE RECORDED
We broke ground on our new single, Mighty Mississippi, this month at Mansion Studios.   Some of you have possibly heard it at a show already, but its still undergoing a few changes.  Mixing starts in January, and we hove to have it on the airwaves as soon as late March/early April.

We are also proud to announce that this will be the first recording that we've made with new pianist/organist Wes Wingate!... who has been quite entertaining in the studio...
